Nigella Lawson is set to return to screens later this year with a new six-part series, Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat.
The show will see the celebrity chef showcase a multitude of new recipes that include many of her favourite ingredients.
Nigella will explain how she finds inspiration for her dishes, such as taking a look back through some of her vintage cookbooks, to exchanging ideas on social media.
The 60-year-old will offer a host of mouth-watering recipes, including chocolate peanut butter cake, crab mac and cheese something called a Fear Free Fish Stew, all of which sound incredibly delicious.
She will also explore the importance of food in our lives, and how it influences social connections.
Speaking of the upcoming show, Nigella said: ‘It’s more than just a mantra – Cook, Eat, Repeat is the story of my life.’
There’s no word yet on when episodes will be broadcast, but we can anticipate it will be sometime before the end of the year.
Alongside the BBC Two series will also be a one-hour Christmas special, which will see the beloved TV chef and writer bring food from far and near to her table to concoct a series of recipes perfect for the festive season.
The series will be made by BBC Studios’ Unscripted Productions in Bristol, and has been commissioned by Patrick Holland, controller of BBC Two and Catherine Catton, head of commissioning for popular factual and factual entertainment.
Meanwhile, Ricky Cooper is the commissioning editor, while Paolo Pronto will serve as executive producer of the project.
Nigella’s new series is her first to be broadcast on BBC Two since Nigella: At My Table, which aired in 2017 and focused on simple and easy recipes to make with complex flavours.
Since then, she has served as a judge on the Australian version of MasterChef, and made a guest appearance on the US version in 2019.
Nigella Lawson’s Cook, Eat, Repeat will be broadcast on BBC Two later in the year.
